LTGDO case study

LTGDO
Queen B Media worked with a Chicago local produce delivery company who’s direct competition included: PeaPod, InstaCart, Amazon Prime, Whole Foods, and more. We came up with specific contests to promote brand awareness and build up the email database by using Lemon Tree Direct Organics delivery service.
There were several different types of Lemon Tree Direct Organic Boxes we chose from. We used the Lunch Box and BBQ boxes based on cost and popularity. Offerpop (now known as wyng) is the campaign platform we used to execute the competition. (Using Facebook directly for contests is against guidelines).
Overall, the campaign received 3x as many Lunch Box submissions compared to the BBQ Box.
Finally, the Lunch Box had 65% submissions located in the LTGDO delivery zone in comparison to 35% for the BBQ Box.
Overall, the contests were excellent in building brand
awareness based on the submissions, emails, word-of-mouth, photos, and reviews. It was a step in the right direction to learn how to make deliveries more efficient, increase our
understanding about organic shelf-life, and find out what
products customers wanted to increase in their organic boxes.
